I am Kate, the face behind Mother Nurture.

I am a mum of two gorgeous little men, a Midwife of almost 20 years, Nurse, Hypnobirthing Practitioner, educator, soon-to-be Lactation Consultant, and a passionate advocate for women in their transition to motherhood.

We all know the saying that “it takes a village to raise a child”, but I strongly believe that it also take a village to properly support a mother.

Motherhood was never meant to be lived alone, and no generation of mothers have ever been asked to carry this much with such little support.

Everyone wants to hold the baby, but not the mother.

Motherhood is undeniably beautiful but it can also be overwhelming, relentless, exhausting, and lonely. It is my goal that every woman I support feels seen, heard and held on this wonderful, chaotic journey.
